Elagabalus, 218-222. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 26 mm, 11.79 g, 12 h), Rome. [IMP CAES M A]VR ANTONINVS [PIVS AVG] Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind. Rev. SALVS ANTONINI AVG / S - C Salus standing front, head to right, holding serpent with her right hand and feeding it out of patera held in her left. BMC -. Cohen -. RIC -. Unpublished as a dupondius. Minor cleaning scratches on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
